The new year has started with a record number of enquiries for Spectrum Courses, the specialist training firm improving standards and reducing incidents in transport for vulnerable children and adults.
With changes in legislation imminent for Taxi & Private Hire Vehicle drivers, many local authorities and taxi firms are taking the initiative to ensure training is already in place.
"We are delighted that we are enjoying such a busy start to the New Year," said Spectrum founder Jane Saggers.
"2020 is going to be very important year in protecting vulnerable children and adults during transport. Councils, where Spectrum training is being used, are already improving standards, reducing incidents and reducing public sector training costs.

Spectrum Courses offer nationally standardised & accredited training and meets all DfE statutory guidance (2019) for:
- Safeguarding
- Support & management of challenging behaviours
- Disability awareness, including hidden disabilities (including Autism, ADHD and other associated conditions)
- Communicating appropriately with pupils with disabilities, including hidden disabilities
- Discrimination awareness
- Handling Emergencies
